Formation and Community
As a body, we gather not only to be fed by Word and Sacrament, but to prepare space, the table, and ministries for the outside world and each other to delve deeper into the love and worship of God.
Communal Rhythms
Sunday Eucharist Service
Our Sunday Eucharist service is our central rhythm where we gather to hear the Word of God and receive from the Table. This weekly rhythm roots us in God’s Word through the reading of Scripture, Psalm, Letters and Gospel. It also locates us in the grace of God, receiving with open hands the body and blood of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who sustains us for the week ahead.
Our services follow the Renewed Ancient Liturgy within the Book of Common Prayer.
Home Parish
We believe that a flourishing community of Christ-followers is sustained by an authentic love of God and Neighbor. As such, we are committed to the provision of Home Parish Communities - multigenerational subgroups of the corporate church community.
Grounded in the Book of Common Prayer and the rhythms of the liturgical church year, Home Parish Communities gather to eat, pray, and share stories. Home Parishes are the communities in which we model and multiply God's love and care for our neighbors.
Lay Ministry Teams
Lay Ministry Teams
A distinctive of Anglican spirituality and liturgy is that it is rooted in the work of the people. After Sunday worship and Eucharist, God’s people are commissioned to “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.” As lay ministers in God’s Church, we are the center of Christ-like service to the world. As a body, we gather not only to be fed by Word and Sacrament, but to prepare space, the table, and ministries for the outside world and each other to delve deeper into the love and worship of God. This is our good and faithful work as God’s hands and feet.
We are most Christ’s Church when we serve and love one another. There are many ways we can partner with God at Christ Church Anglican. We invite you to explore the lay ministries of the parish and, in prayer with the Spirit, ask the Lord, “Where might you be inviting me to serve with you and my community?”
